Teeth!

Between the last post and now, Claire has gotten two of the cutest little teeth on the bottom. I have tried very hard to get a picture of them, but it is just impossible.
She has also started eating rice cereal. She was a pro from the start and loves it! She is quickly wanting to help feed herself and gets frustrated that she cant do it all by herself. haha For now, she "helps."

Here are a few pictures of what we wake up to every morning. Haha! Look at her bed head! :)

Pigtails and laughing! :)

She loves her feet!

Below are a few cute pictures of her in her St. Patrick's Day outfit! :)

On another note, some of you know that she has been struggling with a mild fever for about 2 months now. She has had a few colds and been teething so the doctor attributed the fever to those things. However, last Friday, after her two teeth popped through, she was still running a fever so I took her back in. They did some tests and figured out that she has a UTI! This is really uncommon in babies her age and the doctor is concerned about kidney reflux. She is on antibiotics to take care of the infection for now. We switched to a new, stronger antibiotics last night and so far she is fever free!
She goes next week to have more tests done to see if it is kidney reflux and to what degree. She has to have a VCUG. Basically, they will insert a catheter and fill her bladder with dye and then watch on x rays to see how far the dye travels to determine if she has reflux and based on how far it travels, what degree she has. Luckily, Chris is able to take the day and go with us to the appointment...it will not be a good day for any of us!
Although the doctor did not seem to think so, we are hoping this is a random, one time UTI fluke type of thing. However, if not we are praying that it is a mild degree of kidney reflux which means she will outgrow it and will just need antibiotics for a year or so until she does.
Please keep her in your prayers! I will keep you all posted as soon as we know more.
