Today Claire got a package in the mail from Grammie! It was this adorable Valentine's Day outfit.
I couldnt wait until Valentine's Day to put it on her and of course I took pictures.

Claire's New Toys

This weekend I went and got Claire some new toys! She is so alert and busy these days that I wanted to get her a few more things to keep her stimulated and occupied.

She is still teething and pretty restless at night! I wish that tooth would break through already!!!
Other than that she is full of smiles and talks nonstop! :)

She laughed for the first time over the weekend. Chris was blowing raspberries on her tummy and she made the cutest little giggle. :)

The weather here this week as been very un-San Diego like...cold, windy, and really rainy. I know most people cant believe I would say this but I actually am enjoying the change. I thought I was missing out on having true season changes in Florida but San Diego is far worse. San Diego is beautiful and sunny but sometimes I miss other weather.

Teething

Claire has been teething the last few days...more thing is pretty miserable. She is not sleeping or eating like usual. She has been pretty good considering she must be in lots of pain.

Hoping it will pass quickly!

First Movie

Such a happy girl!!!

She has "Dolly" and is all ready for our walk...she LOVES to be outside!



Yesterday was a great family day! Chris, Claire, Allie and I went on a walk around Coronado. We picked up sandwiches and had a little picnic down by the water...the weather was so nice. I was wearing shorts...in January! Crazy!
In the evening we ate dinner at the food court on base and then went to see The Blind Side at the base theater. We were not sure how Claire was going to do at a movie but we figured since it was free we would try it out and if we had to leave it wouldnt be a big deal.
She actually did really well...such a sweetie!
We sat in the very back and I had to stand with her a few times to bounce her and get her to sleep but other than that, she was great!
The Blind Side was a great movie...definitely recommend it to anyone who has not seen it!

New Blog

Alright, I decided since I have plenty of time now that I am staying home with Claire that I should finally create a blog. It will be a great and easy way to keep everyone up to date on what is going on with us and a good way to post new pics of Claire.

Currently, I am staying at home with Claire and absolutely loving it! I am so thankful that we are able to make things work where I can stay home.
Chris is busy studying and preparing to make HAC!

Claire is already 3 months old!!! Time has flown by! She is getting more and more independent each day. Yesterday she rolled over from her stomach to her back. Chris and I were amazed!
She loves to smile and coo at mommy and daddy...there is nothing sweeter!
